At Guardian, we strive to provide our team members with fun opportunities to attend guest speaking events on a variety of subjects. In August, we were thrilled to have Sam Yu from Zizi’s Bee Company speak to our team about how bees relate to leadership. He even brought some special guests that really had everyone buzzing!
Sam runs Zizi’s Bee Company with his co-founder, and daughter, Zuri. Together, they make a dedicated and passionate team that focuses on giving those in the community access to local honey, beeswax, and honey products. A main part of their mission is to educate people about why bees are so important and the vital role they play in our ecosystem. Bees pollinate one third of the food we eat. Zizi’s Bee Company is setting out to ensure a more sustainable future for bees and are helping educate people on the environment needed to maintain a healthier bee population. Sam brought an observation hive and team members enjoyed getting an up-close opportunity to see how bees work.
