Guardian was proud to partner with Kiss-FM and Bama Country for the 16th annual Crack the Safe contest. Four live remote events were held at Guardian branches throughout the River Region, where members and non-members had the opportunity to enter to win $5,000 in cash. The final giveaway event took place Wednesday, December 13, at Riverwalk Stadium.
50 finalists were selected at random and presented with a key. One by one, they had the chance to try their key in the safe to see if it would open. After 16 attempts, lucky key #17 was the one to crack the safe! When we asked Kathy what she planned on doing with the money, she stated, “My church will come first, and then my family!”
What started as a fun partnership with Kiss-FM and Bama Country 16 years ago has now turned into a tradition that we at Guardian look forward to every year. We enjoy the excitement that the contest brings, but most of all we enjoy someone in our community getting a $5,000 surprise that provides a significant financial boost to them and their family during the holiday season.
