Guardian was proud to partner with Kiss-FM and Bama Country for the 15th annual Crack the Safe contest. Four live remote events were held at Guardian branches throughout the River Region, where members and non-members had the opportunity to enter to win $5,000 in cash. The final giveaway event took place Friday, December 16, at Riverwalk Stadium. 50 finalists were selected at random and presented with a key. One by one, they had the chance to try their key in the safe to see if it would open.
After 37 attempts, lucky key #38 was the one to crack the safe! When we asked Chris what he planned on doing with the money, he stated, “Pay myself back for Christmas!”
What started as a fun partnership with Kiss-FM and Bama Country 15 years ago has now turned into a tradition that we at Guardian look forward to every year. We enjoy the excitement that the contest brings, but most of all we enjoy someone in our community getting a $5,000 surprise that provides a significant financial boost to them and their family during the holiday season.
