On January 12, 2023, Guardian Credit Union celebrated the official ribbon cutting and grand opening of their newest permanent branch in Wetumpka, Alabama. Joined by representatives from the City of Wetumpka, members of the Chamber, the Guardian team, and people from throughout the community, it was a momentous occasion as Guardian officially opened the doors to this beautiful, new branch.
Wetumpka’s Economic Development Director, Lynn Weldon, opened the event and facilitated the official ribbon cutting, featuring a strong showing of community spirit brought by the Wetumpka High School cheerleaders. Guardian’s Chief Experience Officer, Rachel Stewart, followed with remarks that reflected a sense of excitement for the ways this new branch will be able to better serve and meet the financial needs of the community, while continuing to foster impactful community partnerships throughout.
