Guardian takes pride in being an active piece of each community we serve. While serving our members, we also want to be a part of the organizations and events that are important to them. Learning what makes these cities and towns unique helps us understand, connect with, and better serve our members and communities as a whole.
Our Congressman Dickinson Drive team was able to simultaneously meet a need in our community and serve alongside a great local organization in Montgomery: That's My Dog. They provided lunch for the entire staff at Crowne Health and Rehab, a nursing facility near the branch. That's My Dog is the first teen-operated restaurant in the country. Every meal purchased is a donation to That's My Child, a nonprofit that empowers and readies teenagers for the workforce. Guardian was happy and proud to work alongside That's My Dog to put this lunch together.
Our team was grateful to meet the staff at Crowne Health and Rehab, as well as support and thank them for their continual hard work during this unprecedented time. Nursing facility employees deserve recognition on a regular day. They do so much for their residents and become a second family to them. Now, they are doing even more for their residents and communities as a whole, and we cannot thank them enough for their dedication to those they serve.
